January 8, 2015 Successful National Architecture Student Forum Hosted by UT

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, Knoxville, Chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students hosted the largest architecture student conference of the year in Nashville this winter. Held Dec. 29 through Jan. 1, the , titled “REVERB,” welcomed students from around the country to attend workshops, lectures, and seminars led by prominent professionals and academics, including our very own:

The massive event, welcoming nearly 800 students, took a year of planning by six core students:

  • Alli Randall, Events Coordinator
  • Coleen O’Leary, Volunteer Coordinator
  • Holly Harris, Partnership Coordinator
  • Chloe Lane, Graphics Coordinator

At AIAS FORUM, the UT Chapter of AIAS Freedom by Design, an organization that designs and builds projects for disabled and/or low-income individuals, claimed four national awards, including top program:

  • Best Freedom by Design Program (UTK)
  • Best Mid Level Project (Skeen Residence)
  • Most Sustainable Project (skeen Residence)
  • Best Fundraising Event (Pig Roast)
